A brief introduction to nanocrystalline

Nanocrystalline soft magnetic alloy is a kind of soft magnetic alloy with nanocrystalline structure obtained by heat treatment on the basis of amorphous alloy, which has more excellent soft magnetic properties. Therefore, the manufacturing process and use process of amorphous alloy materials will be energy-saving, and green energy-saving products will be the focus of development in the new century.

Power Electronic System Application

In the field of power electronics, with the maturity of high-frequency inverter technology, traditional high-power linear power supply has been replaced by high-frequency switching power supply in large quantities. In order to improve efficiency and reduce volume, the operating frequency of switching power supply is getting higher and higher, which puts forward higher requirements for soft magnetic materials. The high frequency loss of silicon steel is too large to meet the use requirements; Although the high frequency loss of ferrite is low, there are still many problems under the condition of high power. First, the saturation magnetic induction is low, which cannot reduce the volume of transformer; Second, the Curie temperature is low and the thermal stability is poor; Third, the production rate of large-sized iron core is low and the cost is high. The conversion power of a single transformer using power ferrite shall not exceed 20kW. Nanocrystalline soft magnetic alloy is the best choice for high-power switching power supply because of its high saturation magnetic induction, low high-frequency loss and good thermal stability. The conversion power of the transformer with nanocrystalline iron core can reach 500kW, and its volume is 50% less than that of the power ferrite transformer. Nanocrystalline alloy has been widely used in inverter welding power supply, and its application in switching power supply in communication, electric vehicles, electrolytic electroplating and other fields is also being actively developed. About 6% of the domestic ordinary nanocrystalline strips are used in the inverter welding field.

New energy fieldapplication

The main application direction of nanocrystalline thin strips in the future is the new application fields emerging in emerging industries such as new energy (solar energy, wind energy) and electric vehicles. In emerging applications, nanocrystalline ribbons are mainly used as common mode inductors for solar photovoltaic inverters, electric vehicle on-board chargers, and high-frequency transformer core materials, with huge market growth. Today, when the global energy situation is tense and climate warming seriously threatens economic development and people’s health, all countries in the world are seeking new energy substitution strategies to achieve sustainable development and gain an advantageous position in future development. As a clean and renewable new energy industry, solar photovoltaic power generation has received widespread concern and attention all over the world. Many governments are increasing their policy support for this industry, taking new energy industries such as solar photovoltaic as important measures to lead economic development. The grid connected photovoltaic inverter is the core power regulator of the photovoltaic system to realize the connection of photovoltaic power generation to the grid and load. The main electromagnetic components in the grid connected photovoltaic inverter structure are output filter inductor, common mode inductor and isolation transformer. Among them, the main function of output filter inductor is to convert PWM modulation wave into sine wave with little distortion, so as to feed clean sine wave into power grid or load. The common mode inductor and high-frequency transformer core made of nanocrystalline thin tape are characterized by small size, light weight and energy saving.
